Training sessions take place every Saturday morning from 9:30am until 11:00 at Buckshaw all weather pitch. There is a small coaching charge of £2.

The club is affiliated to the Lancashire F.A. and recently took its first big step into the world of league football.

Astley & Buckshaw Juniors joined the Mid Lancs Colt JFL in September 2005 and runs an Under 9's and Under 10's team.

The club joined the Central Lancs League in July 2006 and runs Under 11's, Under 14's and Under 16's teams.
